About Me

Hi! My name is Christine Meush, but my friends just call me Chris, and since you’re all now my new friends, feel free to call me such. (Chris that is; please don’t call me Such).

I had originally planned on putting a bunch of stuff in here about my hobbies and the things I like, and the music I listen to, and the books I read, and blah blee bloo… I scrapped that idea.

No one really cares about that stuff anyway. Suffice it to say, I pretty much like most music, TV, books, food, etc. and leave it at that.

All you really need to know is that I love reading up on random subjects and then occasionally writing about it. For example, one day I might decide to research Hinduism, the next I might want to find out where vinegar comes from. It’s very easy for something to pique my interest, but it doesn’t usually hold it long enough for me to learn anything in-depth – just the bare minimum required to be able to bust out strange random facts to folks and cement my reputation as the mysterious giver of strange esoteric knowledge…

So, now you know why I’ve started this blog:. I’ve decided to share my random findings, thoughts and musings with the world, for better or for worse. Most likely for worse. I don’t think anything good will come of me inflicting my whimsical ramblings on everyone, but que sera sera…

  2. Hi Chris!
Love your site, and sorry it took me a while to get over to see it; it was very awesome of you to be the very first person to like my blog! I’m so new to this that I’m not even sure this will reach you – I’m staring at the buttons below with apprehension…..

    1. Yes I got the message, no need to worry :) Thanks for visiting!

Also, I went back and read some more of your blog and you’re doing a great job! I’ve decided to follow you so keep the good stuff coming!

P.S. I love that you’re from rural Manitoba! I grew up in Ste-Anne; not sure if you’re familiar with it, but it’s also very rural ;)

      1. Oh wow, I just found this reply…I still have a pretty steep learning curve apparently! I’m imported from Ontario, came here with my first husband, so I’ve been in Manitoba for a long time now. Thanks for the encouragement, I really appreciate it!

  3. Huzzah! Another random rambler! :D I’ve had my account for a week now and was starting to think that my blog was going to sit in a tiny little corner completely devoid of life all by its random self! Love your stuff, can’t wait to read more ^_^

    1. Thanks! Random rambling for the win! Thanks for following too! I hopped over to your blog and you’ve got some good ramblings going on there, so I’m now following you as well. Us ramblers need to stick together :)

  4. Hey! Where are you? Haven’t been posting. I just dropped by to say that I miss reading your interesting writings. Come on back on the blogging track!

    1. Hey! I’m taking a break from blogging for now. I’ve been really busy lately so it’s hard to find time to write, but don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. Thanks for the support! :)

      1. Taking a break every now and then is good. That way, you can keep in touch with reality – the real life you have! I do it all the time. Anyways, enjoy your break.
